Andy plays around with new technologies fairly regularly to try as well as he can to keep ahead of new developments. Part of that lately, in 2023, is using AI artwork generators. Here, he prompted the Dall-e 3 art generator with "Typical Scenery in _____", and put the results into a map that... came out pretty nice aesthetically!
Of course, there's a TON you can read into every single one of these state "portraits" from AI -- given that AI is generated from a massive store of training data, this can give us what kind of idea is perpetuated in our data.
