Mounds Mall Anderson
It was the second fully enclosed shopping mall built in Indiana (after Evansville's Washington Square) and opened in 1965, a full five years before the Muncie Mall started. And, it was the first mall in this part of Indiana to close, meeting its demise in 2018. But, even in the 1970s-2000s when Muncie had its own mall, Munsonians would still occasionally venture to its sister city to the west and roam the corridors of Mounds.
