Collegienne Shop Ball Stores

Back when the Village was substantially more village-like, the south side of the block of University between Martin and Dill Streets held the Collegienne Shop, a series of rooms ambling around the property around a drug store on the Martin corner and a gas station on the Dill corner. Eventually the Colllegienne Shop was bought by Ball Stores and survived into the late 1980s. Then, the buildings were repurposed into a multiunit commercial minimall until razed for the Village Prominade after the millennium.
