Headliners Bar & Grill
Headliner’s Bar and Grill was a former music venue and bar in the Village, near BSU. Headliner’s frequently featured live music and had cheap alcohol specials. They had an interior music venue as well as an outdoor stage. It was, through its existence, a popular music venue among Ball State students who came to see local and regional acts. Some of the notable acts that passed through Headliners are The Why Store, Gene Deer, and Johnny Socko. They closed sometime in 1999 and were located at the current site of Be Here Now, a venue that carries on the live music scene that Headliner’s fostered.
