Pony Keg Lounge

Pony Keg Lounge

The Pony Keg Tavern opened in 1955 on North Broadway. They offered a drive in, carry out service for their alcoholic beverages, but also served food, such as tenderloins and steak sandwiches, and had a bar. The Pony Keg was very frequently burglarized, and began offering live music, beginning in 1988. The site was renamed Jersey’s Sports Bar and Grill in 2005, but closed in 2006. The building was demolished in 2010, and is currently an empty lot.
