City Line Hotline Muncie

The mid to late 1990s were a strange time. Though it was still largely before the "digital age," aspects of the internet had begun infiltrating all aspects of culture. The local newspaper, The StarPress, saw this change that outflanked them by updating more than once a day and acted: they bought the bank's old Time & Temperature phone line and created City Line, a phone number where you could enter a code and get the latest updates spoken at you.
