Product Overview
The Big Four Railroad, officially the Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago and St. Louis Railway, was a major Midwestern railroad that serviced Muncie, Indiana. It played a crucial role in the area's economic development. However, in the face of growing transportation competition, it was ultimately absorbed by the New York Central Railroad in the early 20th century, leading to its dissolution as an independent entity.
