This is the now-iconic MMC Purple Hippo graphic. Yes, that one.
Originally released in 2018, the Purple Hippo is our all-time best selling graphic. Given the number of copies we have sold over that time, it is very likely the most widely owned piece of Muncie-related artwork in existence.
What you get:
- A folder with all digital assets that we have including master files, print files, merchandizing mockups, and more.
- A bill of sale in which Muncie Map Co. LLC and Andy Shears both relinquish all claims to copyright, trademark, ownership or exploitation of the graphic, or one notably similar, in perpetuity, and (for this specific case) agrees not to produce any more purple hippo-centered graphics or artwork for at least three years.
- Any inventory we have on hand, though I'll warn you this usually isn't very much.
How'd you come up with that price? Real-world earnings. With a little effort and some marketing hustle, past sales say you should be able to take this much money in on goods with this graphic in 36 months or less. And, given that you're likely better at that stuff than I am, you can probably do it a LOT quicker.
Why are you doing this? Because MMC is in the "amputate the arm to save the body" phase of its existence. Either I sell some IP, or I lose it all.
